The polka dot motif from my Sunflowers painting for Mum became the starting point for this piece, inspiring me to explore the idea again in a new context.

 

I chose the Monstera simply because it’s the one plant I’ve managed to keep alive - thriving in the living room like a quiet little victory.
(I’m considering it a co-parenting success.)
