Pretty much the family surrounding the especially famous fig motif in this exhibition. They symbolise the sentiment of ‘figuring it out’ as an artist — alongside other fruit-based works that capture my changeable techniques and styles.

 

It’s not a self-deprecating series. It’s simply an honest representation of where I’m at.

 

And that’s okay (I’ve got my family).
