This was the first painting when I realised that art was my passion.

It had been five hours since I had ignored all basic physiological needs and was completely immersed in creating this painting.

And, I could’ve gone for hours longer.

 

I vividly remember painting the lime, proud of the vibrant colour I mixed, and the patience of building up it's shape. Looking at the photo of the lime on my phone, then to the one I had just created, and back again –
I was proud.
